These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of airhelpdesks.com and to any booking made with AirHelpDesks by phone, email or through our website. Please read them carefully. By using our website or booking with us you agree to these terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
We are an independent travel agency that books flights for you. The airline runs the flight and sets the fare rules, so changes, cancellations and refunds always follow the airline's conditions.
01About AirHelpDesks
AirHelpDesks is a trading name of Flights Booking Desk LLC, 7 Otely Ct 1A, Windsor Mill, MD 21244, United States. We are an independent travel agency. We are not an airline, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any airline, airport or government agency.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean AirHelpDesks, and "you" means the person using our website or making a booking, along with every traveller on that booking.
02Our Services
We help you find and book air travel. Our services include:
- Searching and comparing published fares from a wide range of airlines.
- Offering fares by phone that may not be shown online.
- Making reservations and arranging ticket issue with the airline or its ticketing partners.
- Helping with seat requests, special assistance, changes, cancellations and refund requests after you book.
03How Booking Works
- Search. Fares on our website are shown for information and come from live airline data at the time of your search.
- Enquire. When you choose a flight and send an enquiry, one of our travel agents contacts you to confirm availability, the final price and the fare rules.
- Confirm and pay. A booking is made only once you have agreed to the itinerary and the total price and have authorised payment.
- Ticket. Your booking is complete when the airline issues the ticket and we send you an airline confirmation code (PNR) and e-ticket number.
Sending an enquiry does not reserve a seat or hold a fare. If the airline does not issue the ticket, for example because the fare or seat is no longer available, we will offer you an alternative or return any money taken for that ticket.
04Airline Rules and Supplier Terms
Every flight is provided by the airline, not by AirHelpDesks. Once a ticket is issued, your contract of carriage is with the airline, and its conditions apply in addition to these terms. The airline decides fares, baggage allowances, seat assignments, check-in times, schedule changes, overbooking and denied boarding, and whether a ticket can be changed or refunded.
We will tell you about the main fare rules before you book, and you can ask us for the full conditions at any time.
05Prices, Fees and Payment
- Prices are quoted in US dollars unless we tell you otherwise, and include the airline fare and government taxes and fees known at the time of booking.
- Fares change constantly and are not guaranteed until the ticket is issued. A price shown on our website or quoted earlier may change before you pay.
- We may charge a service fee for our booking and support work. Any service fee is included in, or stated alongside, the total price you agree to before paying.
- Airline extras such as checked bags, seat selection and meals may cost more and are usually paid to the airline.
- Your card may show separate charges from the airline and from AirHelpDesks or our payment partner, adding up to the total you agreed.
- We may cancel a booking if payment is declined, reversed or suspected to be fraudulent.
06Your Responsibilities
- Make sure every passenger name matches their passport or government ID exactly. Name corrections may not be allowed, or may cost extra, once a ticket is issued.
- Check your itinerary, dates and times as soon as you receive it and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.
- Give us a working email address and phone number so we and the airline can reach you about schedule changes.
- Reconfirm your flight times with the airline before you travel, and arrive at the airport in good time for check-in.
- Use every flight in the order booked. Airlines may cancel the rest of a ticket if a segment is missed.
07Changes, Cancellations and Refunds
Whether you can change or cancel a ticket, and what it costs, depends on the airline's fare rules. Some fares cannot be changed or refunded at all. Where a refund or credit is allowed, we will request it from the airline for you, but the airline decides whether to approve it.
Full details are in our Refund Policy.
08Passports, Visas and Health Requirements
You are responsible for having a valid passport, any visas or travel authorisations, and any health documents required for every country you visit or pass through. Many countries require a passport to be valid for at least six months after your travel dates.
We can point you to general information, but we cannot guarantee entry to any country. Please check current requirements with the relevant embassy or official government website before you travel. We are not responsible if you are refused boarding or entry because of missing or invalid documents.
09Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may link to airline sites and other third-party websites, and some services, such as payment processing, are provided by other companies. These are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
10Using Our Website
You may use our website for personal, non-commercial travel planning only. You must not copy or scrape its content, interfere with its security or operation, submit false enquiries or use it for anything unlawful.
The website design, text and graphics belong to AirHelpDesks or its licensors. Airline names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and appear on our site only to identify the airlines whose flights we sell.
11Limitation of Liability
We will provide our services with reasonable skill and care. However, because flights are operated by airlines, we are not liable for:
- Flight delays, cancellations, schedule changes, overbooking or missed connections.
- Lost, delayed or damaged baggage, or injury or illness during travel.
- Errors in information supplied by airlines or other suppliers.
- Losses caused by incorrect information you gave us, or by missing travel documents.
- Events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, war or government action.
Where we are found liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the booking concerned, as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law, or any compensation the airline owes you under its own rules or passenger rights regulations.
We strongly recommend buying travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical costs and baggage.
12Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States. If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by the courts of Maryland, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
13Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you make a booking is the one that applies to that booking.
